The Captiva Farmers Market is located at the parking lot near the entrance of the South Island Seas Resort, 5400 Plantation Road, Captiva, FL 33924. Parking is available in the adjacent plazas but only guests of South Island Seas can park in that parking lot. It is run and organized by Organized by Local Roots, which is co-owned by Jean Baer and Betsy Ventura. Those two also operate the Sanibel Island Farmers Market.
The market is located outdoors in an open air environment, which is safe. Bring your pets to stroll too. There will even be some treats and food for them too! Each vendor station also has hand sanitizer.
The Captiva Island Farmers Market is open every Tuesday from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. in front of the South Seas Island Resort.
Yes, the Captiva Farmers Market is open every year from the end of November, right after Thanksgiving, through the end of April on Tuesdays. The market is open to everyone, including residents, visitors and those working on the island.
